About the Art: Where do I even start with this piece?
Earlier in the day I’d had a reading where I learnt that my late grandmother was with me, guiding me through this ‘art journey’ that I was about to embark on. That night I had the urge to paint - I popped my headphones on and decided acoustic covers was the vibe. I started painting, and quickly drifted off into some kind of trance. Although I was holding the paintbrush and making the marks on the canvas, I didn’t feel like I was the one making the decisions. I was being led by someone else. Throughout the session, I began crying twice, I don’t know, I can’t explain it, I wasn’t sad, I just had this overwhelming feeling of emotion come over me. And then it ended, the painting was complete. I don’t know how, but it there it was. The emotion and depth in this artwork stems deep 🤍
