This piece carries so much history within its layers - a canvas constantly evolving, shifting, and revealing new versions of itself. Green was always its anchor, woven through every stage, inspired by my time living in Far North Queensland. The palette reflects the lush density of the rainforest: deep foliage tones, flashes of vibrant colour, butterflies drifting through the canopy, birds of paradise in bloom, and glimpses of sky filtering through the trees.
